DIN 3015-3 covers double or twin block clamps. The series is useful when two tubes run in parallel and the designer wants one support point instead of two separate clamps.
Twin clamps are common in compact machine frames, hydraulic manifolds, return/supply pairs and equipment where neat routing and repeatable spacing are important.
Typical use cases
- Two parallel tubes or hoses with similar routing
- Compact layouts with limited frame space
- Hydraulic supply and return pairs
- Cleaner installation with repeatable tube spacing
Selection notes
Both lines should be checked together. Confirm each outside diameter, center spacing, bend clearance, maintenance access and whether the two lines have compatible vibration and temperature behavior.
When not to use twin clamps
Avoid twin clamps when the two lines have very different thermal movement, frequent removal requirements, or incompatible vibration modes. In those cases, separate standard or heavy clamps can be easier to service.
