DIN 3015-1 covers light-duty block clamps. In the market it is usually described as the standard series because it is the first choice for common industrial pipe and tube routing.
Use this series when the line diameter, load and vibration level are moderate, and when compact installation and cost efficiency matter.
Typical use cases
- General hydraulic and pneumatic lines
- Machine tools, skids, compact power units and production equipment
- Common mounting with weld plates, rails, cover plates and stacking bolts
- Best when vibration is present but not severe
Selection notes
Confirm the pipe outside diameter first, then choose body material and mounting hardware. PP bodies are common for general industrial use; PA, aluminum or special inserts may be better where temperature, load or chemical exposure changes.
When to step up to Part 2
Move to DIN 3015-2 when the pipe is large, the support distance is long, the equipment is mobile, or shock and vibration are high enough to require a stronger clamp body and heavier mounting footprint.
